Thruscross Reservoir
Good Points
Clear paths with lots of interesting photo-ops, including shots of the damn itself, across the reservoir, a few abandoned buildings and significant swathes of woodland.
Things to watch for
A lot of the paths are easy enough but some parts are very difficult, very muddy, and really do require boots.
