Good Points

Full view of the reservoir from the bank, beneath the M62 as well as a concrete tunnel covered in graffiti that leads to the hill climb track on the other side of the motorway.

Things to watch for

The climb down can be a little steep and you don't want to be around the area at night. Rumour has it that there are some dodgy practices occurring.

Points of note

You might find it better for photography on the other end of the reservoir, certainly it is probably better for boats. I haven't been there myself though.
