Sapa is in the high mountains of northern vietnam. It is a good base for trekking in the beautiful mountains and terraced valleys. Sapa is also a good starting point for climbing the highest peaks in Vietnam. The indigenous peoples wearing colourful clothes come into the town for the weekend markets
