The river Meon runs down most of the Meon Valley, and it is very enjoyable to follow it down by foot. Bird life is every where on the way down from kingfishers to egrets.
Can always be muddy to walk if wet
Source of the Meon river is near to East and West Meon and runs all the way to the coast at the bird reserve at Titchfield Haven, again worth a visit. As are the many pubs on the way down, my favourite being the Shoe at Exton.
