Good Points

This the official viewing platform for the Wind Farm so it has good views of the windmills.

Things to watch for

The car park, and short path up to the viewing area can get a little muddy.Although the road does carry on passed the wind farm it gets very bumpy and is best avoided.

Points of note

It is also possible to photograph the windmills from the other side as there is a path from Ogden Water over the moors and back down Withens New Road. The route marked on the map assumes you use the alternate parking area at Ogden water, then follow the route starting by crossing the reservoir damn and following the old rold up the hill.
