Here there are several locks on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal one looking out over the town, others beneath the road.
There are no particular issues.
From here the canal runs to the Standedge Tunnel in one direction, which has a visitor centre, and to Huddersfield in the the other, via Slaithwaite, which I think is the only town with a canal running down the high street. If you don't park where indicated then use this as a reference to access to the towpath.
