Islandhill Nature Reserve

Reasonable birdwatching is possible from a car, wheelchair access. At the shore the car park overlooks Strangford Lough and is an excellent vantage-point for bird watchers. A pathway along the Lough leads to a causeway accessible only at low tide leading to the island. The island provides magnificent views of the Lough. Open all year.
