Hue is the old historical capital of Vietnam. The old city is surrounded by the Citadel wall. Within the Citadel lies the walled Imerial City with palaces, reception hall, temples, tombs and theatres. Many of the 200 year old wooden buildings are being repaired and refurbished and the old Imperial gardens are being re-laid. well worth a visit.
