A walk along part of the Pennine way.
Views across Kirklees, Holmfirth, Huddersfield and Emley Moor transmitter. On a clear day you can see for miles.
Although the path up to Black hill is paved with stone many parts of it are very steep. Walking boots are an absolute must.
Points 1 to 4 show the route of a very clear path, mostly paved, up to the trig point. The photograph was taken between points 2 and 3. This part presents the best views.
